Patrick Neys

After completing his multimedia studies at the «Institut des Arts de Diffusion» in Belgium and after a short period of cinema and advertisement post-production jobs in Brussels, Patrick Neys started his international career in 2003, under the supervision of Dirk Decloedt, as a graphic designer and video content editor for the show «A New Day».

It was directed by Franco Dragone and ran for more than 4 years at the Las Vegas Ceasars Palace, starring Celine Dion singing in front of the first 100 feet wide giant led screen ever built for an indoor show. Since this initial meeting with live entertainment, he specialised as a theatrical and scenic video content conceptor. Contents that are being projected on multiple surfaces, traditional or exotic, giant, fixed or mobile.

In 2010, his video creations received international recognition with the show «The House of Dancing Water». This was also an opportunity for Patrick to come in contact again with choreographer Giuliano Peparini who he formerly met on «Le Rêve» in Las Vegas in 2005. They both collaborated one more time on the musical comedy «1789, Les Amants de la Bastille» in Paris, for which Patrick created the virtual scenery.

In 2015, after having created the content for 3 episodes of the cabaret show « Taboo » for the resort « City Of Dreams » in Macau, he came back in Paris to work at the « Lido de Paris » to work on the iconic revue based on the Champs Elysées. He helped Franco Dragone to create the show « Paris Merveilles » and reinvented the graphical style of the aging revue by creating all the visuals on a mix of multiple Led screens and projection surfaces … and so offer to the audience a journey through Paris and Time.

End of september 2015 for “The Dai Show” in Xishuangbanna (China) he has created all the visuals on his favorite surface : the floor. A mix of dry and wet stages full of water where he tries to cheat our eyes.

Patrick’s favorite game is confusing your vision between physical and virtual.

Beside his work as video content designer, Patrick works as an editor and director of show teasers and trailers but also as a director of 3D animated presentations for conceptual show projects.
