Before entering the world of live entertainment, Jean-Luc Gason mainly worked for 8 year in the advertising and cinema post-production. During this time he had a first experience working as video content technical director on « A New Day », Céline Dion’s show at the Ceasar Palace directed by Franco Dragone, which opened in 2003.
In 2003 he also co-wrote and directed a short film, « La Séquence Silverstein » which was part of the international selection of several festival including Clermont-Ferrand, Short Film Festival of Toronto, Locarno and who a price in the Brno Film Festival. The film was then aquired by Canal Plus International for diffusion.
In 2008, he started working full time for Franco Dragone as the Head of Image Department, where he took part to the creation of the video content of The House of Dancing Water (Macau, China), Taboo (Macau, China), Story of a Fort (Abu Dhabi, UAE), The Han Show (Wuhan, China), Paris Merveille (Lido de Paris), Britney Spears’s Circus Tour, Holiday on Ice Tropicana, Solvay’s Odyseo to cite a few.
He was also main content designer for India India (PTE) and Ice Age Live (Stage Touring).
In 2016, he associated with long time friends and collaborators Patrick Neys and Dirk Decloedt to create Drop The Spoon.
